Can I process an ePay instead of generating a Purchase Order?
No, Items submitted via ePay should fall within one of the selectable categories. Items under the “Other” category are looked at more closely as most items approved to be paid via ePay should fall within one of the available categories. Please consider alternative payment methods before selecting the “Other” category.

What is the difference between the federal (W9/W8) and state (587/590) forms?
Federal Forms:
W9 –Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification
W8 series –Certificate of Foreign Status of Beneficial Owner for United States Tax Withholding and ReportingState Forms:

Why do I have to fill out a paper Form 5 for Foreign Individual?
Taxable payments made to foreign individuals must be reviewed by Payroll for proper reporting via Glacier. These payments are also reviewed for tax treaties, proper visa classification, and federal tax withholding. Currently, processing these payments on a paper form 5 is the only way to navigate the review by Payroll and payment processing by Accounts Payable.

Can I send a domestic wire ?
Wires are only sent to individuals or vendors with foreign bank accounts.

When reporting Entertainment via Epay who is considered a Host?
A Host is someone that attended the Event and have a UCR Net ID. In the case of a non-UCR host, an employee who was in attendance can be listed as the host.

Can Conference registration be paid directly in Epay?
Yes, registration can be paid to the Vendor using the “Other” category. As of October 2018, a university ProCard can also be used to pay conference registration.
