Treasury is responsible for developing financial models, strategies and recommendations, which inform executive-level decision making and support campus-wide integrated strategic planning processes to maximize income on cash balances and long term working capital, and determine the feasibility of funding capital projects and initiatives that are consistent with liquidity, cash flow, and risk budget requirements. Treasury is also responsible for managing external funding received by the University by providing comprehensive fiscal management, consultative analysis and programmatic administration of a full range of complex fund sources, to ensure the effective cash management and internal control, of funds in accordance with campus, system-wide, and regulatory policies and requirements.
